This event is for dentists who are 0-8 years away from a transition.
Selling a practice is more than a financial transaction. This seminar explores the legal, financial, operational, and personal decisions that can help you achieve a smooth and successful transition from practice ownership. In this course, you will learn about the legal, financial, logistical, and emotional aspects of transitioning out of your full-time dental practice. Our team of experts will lecture and conduct Q&A sessions on the following topics:

SPEAKERS:
Megan Urban, Practice Transition Consultant, OMNI Practice Group – Megan grew up in dentistry. Her dad was a dentist in Kansas, After relocating to Oregon, she worked as an EFDA and EFODA before working as an office manager and regional manager in the dental industry. She also worked with a dental-specific CPA where she determined she enjoyed helping dentists to sell and buy practices. Megan is so glad to be selling dental practices and helping buyers find dental practices for OMNI, and since she is a licensed real estate broker in Oregon, Megan can also assist with the sale of your dental condo or building.
Eric Tweed, Attorney, Saalfeld Griggs – Eric advises dentists, veterinarians, and other business owners on practice transitions, business formation, contracts, purchase and sale transactions, and intellectual property matters. As a member of Saalfeld Griggs’ Dental and Veterinary industry groups, he regularly guides clients through the complexities of buying and selling practices, helping them navigate legal issues and achieve their transition goals.
Michael Thompson, Business Development Officer, Bank of America – Michael began his career with Bank of America in 2016 within the Practice Solutions division. In early 2019, he was promoted to serve as the Regional Manager for the Pacific Northwest (AK, WA, OR, MT, ID) specializing in medical financing. In this role, he supports clients in practice acquisitions, start-ups, real estate, debt consolidation and expansions. He surrounds his clients with the right team of advisors to help them realize their dreams of successful practice ownership. Michael has been responsible for over $200 million in funding volume to the practice community in his career with Bank of America.
