SPEAKERS
Jen Bennett, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group –A native to Washington, Jen received her degree in Communications at Central Washington University. After college, she furthered her education and training at PIMA Medical Institute where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting. She served the dental community as a CDA for over 16 years. Jen made the decision to advance her career by becoming a Dental Practice Broker in 2016 and now has over 50 successful dental practice transitions under her belt. She is a valuable asset to the OMNI team.
Tyler Jones, Attorney, Partner Helsell Fetterman – Tyler’s corporate practice consists of helping professionals such as physicians, dentists, veterinarians, CPAs and attorneys with all of their business needs. He helps professionals form their own companies, structure partnership and other joint ventures, and acquire existing practices. In addition, Tyler also practices in the area of estate planning, with an emphasis on tax-saving strategies. In this area, Tyler has significant experience assisting individuals with tax-savings oriented wills and living trusts, formation, and maintenance of irrevocable trusts, and coordinating individuals’ retirement plans with their overall estate plan. Once established, he assists with all legal matters that arise during a company’s tenure, including lease renewals, real estate acquisitions, space-sharing arrangements, issues with clients/patients, employment questions, partner buy-ins, multi-practice ownership, and partnership dissolution. When they are ready to retire, he helps his clients form and implement tax-efficient exit strategies, including sales of the businesses, deferred compensation structures, and other “buy-out” mechanisms. Tyler’s tax practice focuses on representing individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit businesses in matters with the Internal Revenue Service, Washington State Department of Revenue, and the U.S. Department of Justice. These include tax audits, collection issues, installment agreements, offers in compromise, tax liens, penalty abatements, voluntary disclosure issues, and other IRS disciplinary actions. He also advises taxpayers on complicated tax transactions and various income tax planning opportunities for closely held entities, family investment companies, real estate holdings companies, and healthcare groups. Tyler earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law, where he earned the school’s President’s Scholarship for all three years. During law school, he focused on tax and business law, and was president of the law school’s moot court program, advancing to a national competition, as well as being elected to the National Order of Barristers. After graduating law school, Tyler received his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. In addition to his legal practice, Tyler is an adjunct professor with Golden Gate University’s Graduate Tax Program, where he teaches Federal Gift and Estate Tax and Estate Planning courses, and has coached the University of Washington School of Law’s National Tax Moot Court Team.
Chris Frankovich, Vice President and Relationship Manager, Washington Trust Bank. Chris Frankovich is currently a Vice President and Relationship Manager with Washington Trust Bank with his office located in Seattle, WA. With over 30 years in banking and finance, Chris excels in cultivating and managing medical dental and private banking relationships by providing customized financial solutions and exceptional service.
Chris’s educational background, combined with hands-on experience, has endowed him with the skills to deliver exceptional financial recommendations and solutions with high-net-worth clients, including medical and dental professionals. He has been a lending specialist in the healthcare industry for over 15 years, providing clients with commercial loans and lines of credit, commercial and residential real estate loans, and other tailored lending solutions.
Outside of his professional life, Chris is an avid photographer, fitness enthusiast, and golfer. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and dog and volunteering in his community of West Seattle. His personal interests complement his professional drive, reflecting a balanced approach to work and life. Chris is also a veteran of the US Air Force.
