SPEAKERS
Frank Sciabica, DDS, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group – Dr. Frank Sciabica earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988. His post graduate education included training at the Las Vegas Dental Institute for Advanced Dental Studies for Advanced Anterior Aesthetic Dentistry and further training at the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has thirty-six years of clinical dental practice experience, and has personally owned, managed, and sold all fifteen of his practices including a small group practice that was sold to a public company and listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. Frank has served as a lead Practice Transition Specialist with Omni Practice Group for over seven years and has sold over 150 practices. He has vast knowledge of DSO purchase structures.
Jen Bennett, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group – A native to Washington, Jen received her degree in Communications at Central Washington University. After college, she furthered her education and training at PIMA Medical Institute, where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting. She served the dental community as a CDA for over 16 years. Jen made the decision to advance her career by becoming a Dental Practice Broker in 2016 and now has over 50 successful dental practice transitions under her belt. She is a valuable asset to the OMNI team.
Tyler Jones, Attorney, Partner Helsell Fetterman – Tyler advises professionals—including physicians, dentists, veterinarians, CPAs, and attorneys—on business formation, partnerships, acquisitions, and ongoing legal matters such as leases, employment, and ownership transitions. He also guides clients through estate planning with a focus on tax-saving strategies, wills, trusts, and retirement plan coordination, as well as designing tax-efficient exit strategies for retiring professionals. In his tax practice, Tyler represents individuals, businesses, and nonprofits in IRS and state tax matters, including audits, collections, penalty abatements, and complex planning for closely held entities and investment companies. Tyler earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where he received the President’s Scholarship, led the moot court program, and was elected to the National Order of Barristers. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington and teaches estate planning and tax courses as an adjunct professor with Golden Gate University
Michael Thompson, Business Development Officer, Bank of America – Michael began his career with Bank of America in 2016 within the Practice Solutions division. In early 2019, he was promoted to serve as the Regional Manager for the Pacific Northwest (AK, WA, OR, MT, ID), specializing in medical financing. In this role, he supports clients in practice acquisitions, start-ups, real estate, debt consolidation, and expansions. He surrounds his clients with the right team of advisors to help them realize their dreams of successful practice ownership. Michael has been responsible for over $200 million in funding volume to the practice community in his career with Bank of America.
Brian Bircher, CPA, MBA, RSSA®, Managing Shareholder, Martin, Bircher, Thompson, Certified Public Accountants – Brian has over 40 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to dentists, physicians, and medical group practices. He advises on practice acquisitions, financial planning, tax strategies, and transition planning, and is widely recognized for his expertise in dental consulting, frequently presenting webinars and speaking at industry events. In 2022, he earned his RSSA® certification to help clients with Social Security claiming strategies. As Managing Shareholder of MBT, Brian is committed to long-term relationships that support clients’ financial success.
