This event is for dentists who are 0-8 years away from a transition.
In this course, you will learn about the legal, financial, logistical, and emotional aspects of transitioning out of your full-time dental practice. Our team of experts will lecture and conduct Q&A sessions on the following topics:

SPEAKERS
Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA, Owner and Principal Broker, Omni Practice Group – Rod has a vast amount of knowledge, experience, and education in all aspects of business and real estate that provide an incredible value to every medical practice. He has managed, owned, partnered, and consulted with numerous practices throughout the Northwest over the past decade. All have benefited from Rod’s experience in staff management, accounting, marketing, and practice management. Prior to Omni, Rod spent 15 years as Director of Treasury and also Director of Accounting for AT&T Wireless. Rod is a licensed commercial broker and specializes in commercial real estate. He has an MBA from Seattle University, is a Certified Management Accounting, and is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the National Association of Practice Brokers.
Frank Sciabica, DDS, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group Dr. Frank Sciabica serves as a Transition Consultant at Omni Practice Group. He has been looking after the oral health of his patients and creating healthy, beautiful smiles for more than 25 years. The doctor and his team at Lake Sammamish Family Dentistry have advanced their dental training and knowledge to provide every patient with the most advanced treatment available today. Frank has a DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry, and his post graduate education includes training at the Las Vegas Dental Institute for Advanced Dental Studies for Advanced Anterior Aesthetic Dentistry and at the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Frank is a licensed commercial broker in Washington and California.
Jen Bennett, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group –A native to Washington, Jen received her degree in Communications at Central Washington University. After college, she furthered her education and training at PIMA Medical Institute where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting. She served the dental community as a CDA for over 16 years. Jen made the decision to advance her career by becoming a Dental Practice Broker in 2016 and now has over 50 successful dental practice transitions under her belt. She is a valuable asset to the OMNI team.
Scott Henderson, Attorney, Keller Rohrback – Scott Henderson is a business attorney whose clients include dentists, veterinarians, and other health care professionals. He provides advice in such areas as practice transitions, partnerships, real estate, and employment matters. Mr. Henderson’s representation includes the drafting of purchase and sale agreements, employment agreements, options to purchase, leases, and similar documents. He also organizes professional practices into partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, and space-sharing agreements. Aaron Pershall, CBA, Regional Director of Practice Finance, Provide – For over 15 years, Aaron Pershall specialized in dental practice appraisals, transitions, sales, and mergers throughout the Pacific Northwest. As a dental practice broker, he worked to ensure the success of his clients through effective strategic planning, constructive and thoughtful negotiation, and exceptional service. Now, in his role at Provide, he puts his knowledge and experience to work delivering industry-leading financing products and helping doctors find the right financing solution to help them achieve their practice ownership dreams! Aaron also enjoys being an active member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and holds the Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) credential. He has lectured to numerous dental societies and study clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest and written several published articles on the topics of practice appraisals and transitions. Aaron is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship/New Venture Management.
