This event is for dentists who are 0-8 years away from a transition.
In this course, you will learn about the legal, financial, logistical, and emotional aspects of transitioning out of your full-time dental practice. Our team of experts will lecture and conduct Q&A sessions on the following topics:

SPEAKERS
Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA, Owner and Principal Broker, Omni Practice Group – Rod has a vast amount of knowledge, experience, and education in all aspects of business and real estate that provide an incredible value to every medical practice. He has managed, owned, partnered, and consulted with numerous practices throughout the Northwest over the past decade. All have benefited from Rod’s experience in staff management, accounting, marketing, and practice management. Prior to Omni, Rod spent 15 years as Director of Treasury and also Director of Accounting for AT&T Wireless. Rod is a licensed commercial broker and specializes in commercial real estate. He has an MBA from Seattle University, is a Certified Management Accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the National Association of Practice Brokers.
Bruce Johnson, DDS, Practice Transition Consultant, Omni Practice Group – After 40 years of private practice dentistry, Bruce Johnson, DDS, decided to shift gears to serve the Arizona community as a Dental Transition Broker for OMNI Practice Group. Dr. Johnson has owned and operated 3 full-time dental practices. He is a member of the ADA, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club. He is also a member of the Peer Review Committee and Forensic Committee and has Locum Tenens Experience.
Paula D. Aguayo, Attorney at Law, The Law Firm of Paula D. Aguayo, PLLC – Paula is a native of Arizona and a graduate of Arizona State University and Arizona State University College of Law (now named The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law). She has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 1986. Paula has served as an approved consultant for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners participating in the administrative investigative interview process for more than ten years. She served as a voting member of the State Board’s Dental Hygiene Committee for four terms. In December 2016 Paula completed a three-year term as a board member of the Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy, which provides dental care to our community members who are uninsured and underinsured. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and the Arizona Dental Association Business Affiliate Program. The Law Firm of Paula D. Aguayo, PLLC was established May 2001, with a focus on dental practice transitions, professional practice business concerns, and legal issues in dentistry.
