Kim worked for several years as the controller for the successful solar development company, Pod Generating Group. She also worked as the controller at a start-up micro-grid development company. In addition, Kim provides accounting services to a variety of private clients. Kim is well versed in multiple accounting functions and is knowledgeable of the enormous effort veterinarians put into building their practices. Kim was born and raised in California. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She worked for an equine vet practice while attending school in Santa Barbara. Kim currently resides with her family in southern California. She is an avid equestrian and in her free time enjoys riding and competing with her mare.
Mariza Martinez, Vice President, Veterinary Lending, Bank of America – As the Business Development Officer for California and Hawaii; Mariza Martinez specializes in providing practice financing for Veterinarians seeking to start a hospital, consolidate business debt, and purchase an existing practice, remodel, or relocate. In her role, she provides financing for first-time practice owners as well as established doctors with years of ownership experience.
